The Guv'nors combine P-Funk grooves, Acid Jazz and Latin percussion with Blues based guitar to create their individual sound. They have gained a solid reputation as an exciting and original band. They have made several albums, headlined major festivals, had their recordings played in several radio stations, ‘inflight' programmes, used on commercials and been sampled for ‘house' records. Since 1989, The Guv'nors have been the mainstay and closing act of The Ealing Summer Blues Party (part of the Ealing Festival), an event that regularly attracts up to 20,000 people. In 2008,
celebrating their 20th anniversary, The Guv’nors released their first
